Nekton was founded by faculty from Duke University to develop products implementing first principles from biomechanics and sensing as well as more traditional approaches.
Nekton earned its reputation by practicing "Asymmetric" R&D: the rapid conception and production of surprisingly simple solutions to novel or long-standing technical challenges, usually combining rigorous theory and analysis with unexpected insights.
